This bracelet helps to balance the first, third, and fourth chakras.
The Root Chakra, Muladhara, relates to our survival instincts: the need for shelter, food, water, and financial security. When these needs are not met, the adrenal glands become stimulated, causing the release of adrenaline and cortisol. This causes stress and anxiety. Under-stimulation causes depression. Balance Muladhara Chakra in order to achieve a sense of security and contentment in order to rise through the chakras to a state of higher consciousness.
The Solar Plexus Chakra, Manipura, means “Jeweled City” in Sanskrit and is associated with the element fire. Leo, Aries, and Gemini tend to reside in this chakra. The sets of ten yellow jade beads represent the 10-petaled lotus flower of the third chakra. Upon balance of the first two chakras, we experience pratyahara, allowing us to direct our focus inward and direct our energy toward specific goals through dharana, deep concentration. An imbalance of Manipura could manifest as dominating competitive, compulsive, and stubborn. Contrastingly, under stimulation of the third chakra could result in feeling introverted, passive, submissive, or lacking self-confidence. We seek a balance of the solar plexus chakra in order to fulfill life’s purpose, dharma. Tapas, creating internal heat through exercise or breath is an easy way to stimulate Manipura, while dharana, deep concentration, helps to calm an overstimulated third chakra.
The Heart Chakra, Anahata, located at the center of the chest, rather than the heart organ. The element air and a twelve-petaled lotus flower are associated with this chakra, along with jasmine, lavender, and rose scents. Cancer, Libra, and Sagittarius tend to reside in the fourth chakra, where intuitive intelligence lies. When out of balance, we can experience jealousy, loneliness, apathy and indifference. When balanced, the heart chakra allows us to cultivate compassion, gratitude, empathy, sympathy, self-love, love for others, peace, understanding, acceptance, and contentment. Conscious and positive manifestation are made possible through air when the first four chakras are balanced, and we become consciously aware of our oneness with nature.
